Mekoth, Is an ancestral temple that is Run and Maintained by Kappali Family Trust, this temple has a great history and divinity.

Paradevatha(Vettakoru Makan) who is considered as the son of Lord Siva, is worshipped here in this Temple. 

Several Festivals Takes Place in This Temple, one of the important festivals celebrated here is Thira. 



Thira is a two days festival which includes several rituals, the festival season in this temple falls in between the 10-15th of February.

Mega Feast, Flag Hoisting, Elaneer Varavu, Theyyam are some of the main Functions of this festival.
