Kunjali Marekkar Museum was originally the house of a legendry Warrior of Youth who fought valiantly against the Portuguese army.

The Kunjali Marakkar is Located about 5 km from Payyoli, at Kotakkal near Pudhanpadam. Some of the prominent displays include an introduction to the history of Kunjali Marakkar, the sword used by him Canon Balls, and Some other war relics belonging to the Period of Zamorins.
